Black perle nose and claws that are hand stitched, airbrushed accents of greys and pinks, double stitched.  Chester wears a lovely metal star around his neck and a burgandy bow.     ROCCO comes with a lovely necklace around his neck and a matching ball. He
    is 5 way jointed, has a grey hand stitched perle nose, brown alove glass eyes,
    hand stitche claws and facial and paw accents of greys and blacks.  He is filled
     with quality fiberfill and plastic pellets in his tummy.  A real handsome teddy
     fellow looking for a loving home.  Adoption fee is $134.00.
      
                

    Henrietta is my first try at a creature other than a teddy bear.  She
    is made of Rafella and wool felt and her head is jointed with fiber discs,
    a screw, washers and nuts to allow her head to turn side to side.  She is
    filled with fiberfill and sports a yellow and orange bow to match her
    multi-colored body.  Her glass eyes and eyelids are outstanding and her
     feet are flexible. Truely a One-of-a-Kind.  Adoption Fee: $69.95
                                                                                         

Isabella is looking to be adoptedto a good loving home! Long legs and arms, 5-way jointed, black glass eyes, brown perle hand sewn nose, light tan sparse mohair, green bow and leaf with accents around neck, sweet face, felt pads.

I started collecting Teddy Bears (Hermann and Steiff) several years ago, when one day the fall of 2005, I got the urge to make one of my own.  After buying some German Mohair, arm & leg joints, eyes and some thread, away I went - 32 hours later I created my first bear - Spearmint.  Living in the beautiful Ohio countryside and raised on a farm, I learned how to sew at a young age from my mother and being a member of 4-H.  What a pleasure to revisit my old talents.

I retired from the military this summer after 29 years of service and hope to cultivate my Teddy Bear skills.  Everything is sewed by hand and sewing machine and each bear is stuffed with lots of care.  All my bears are made with the best German or English Mohairs.  They are never made in a hurry, so they are very well hand crafted.  In October 2007, I was fortunate enought to attend the famous teddy bear artist (Michelle Lamb's), teddy bear sculpting class in Schaumburg, IL that took place during the 25th Teddy Bear and Friends Magazine Celebration!  In Dec 2007 I also took a teddy bear class with the famous artist Isabella Hoffman who designs bears for Clemenson Teddy Bears in Germany.  Working with these great artists will enable me to perfect my teddy bear making skills.

I also am grateful that one of my bears were pictured in the April 2007 Teddy Bear and Friends "Teddy Bear Face Book" which featured 568 Teddy Bears around the world.
